Ending Friday on a Sweet Note
I've always been a big fan of Fatboybakes' cooking and baking, and so far, the dude's never failed me. I love this Brandy Truffle Cake which we recently bought to celebrate Precious Pea's birthday. It has no flour, so it's suitable for the gluten intolerant. If you like chocolate, this is the cake for you as it contains at least 600 grams of chocolate! You can check his blog HERE.
I think I still have a slice in my fridge. Now that's a great reason to rush home tonight!
Have a GREAT weekend, folks! I'm still boing-ing!

Awwshucks. Just noticed my comment on all the boing boings is missing. How about a bite to pacify me? *open mouth*
precious sista: hehe....as my friend the baker once said, the diff between alcoholics and non alcoholics, is that he cant taste ANY brandy in the cake. You and I, on the other hand, get drunk on cake.
vegeyum: sure...come and get it!
tummythoz: sorry la...thanks for bringing it up tho. I checked and found about 12 comments that had not gone through yet! As for the cake....hehe....i got only one piece left, dahlink. (How much u wanna pay ar?)
That is good looking enough to make any chocolate-lover droll over it!! a fitting beginning to a weekend!:)
I'm going to send this link to a friend who told me just today that she's wheat intolerant. Thanks!
gosh..it looks so good!! another great reason for alcohols.
Have a good one yourself.. ;) Leave a piece for me.. ;)
Awww... It's so cute!
gosh...brandy+truffle+choco+cream cheese...i'm sure the taste will linger on for quite some time...nice!
whats that stuff they put on top of the cake? cream cheese or pure bulla cream?>
mansi desai: well, the compliments should go to the chef (Fatboybakes)!
cynthia: Glad to be of help!
kampungboycitygal: hic?
mamabok: haha...better still, come over and I'll get you a fresh slice. ;-)
jackson: go ask your best baker buddy. :-P
chubbypanda: cute? LOL. I guess so...haha.
nic: you bet it's nice. Give the baker a buzz to get a taste of it. :-)
fbb: it was the bulla cream that you got for me. I guess the restaurant guys couldn't stand seeing a plain cake, so they slathered it with the cream and threw on the candy sprinkles. Not a bad idea when u think abt it..
Ooo... pretty...
wooooooo.. i'm a big fanssss of any chockolot cakes or ice cream...
that cakes u took sure made me hungry .. :P , have to order in advance ke ?
any chance of getting the recipe? :-)
Enjoyed the cake and liked the deco ;o)
What's the icing? it looks terrific!
i must agree that fbb's cake is yummy! i remember da very first time he gave me a pc of fruit cake for tasting, it was excellent and then another walnut cake for mom's birthday... and again, he surprised me with his durian cheese cake, so good!

catsndogs: Welcome to my club! hhaha. And yes, you have to preorder. Just contact the dude on his blog.
gard: keep your fingers and toes crossed!
wmw: me too!!!
